Company

Agee started on a real docket.

The story

Agee did not begin as an idea to bring AI into law. It began with a problem the founder was living every day as a practicing litigator: his cases were moving faster than the support around them, and he was still responsible for the result.

He started with court email. He built a system to read notices, download filings, save them to the right case file, identify deadlines, and alert him when something needed attention. Then he put a language model in the middle of that workflow and found the larger problem: the model could help with the legal work, but only when it knew the case.

So he kept a living outline for every matter. Before each session he gave it to the model. After each session he wrote the model's recap back into it. It was manual, and it worked. The more complete the outline, the better the work product, and the less he had to carry in his head.

That loop is Agee. Court notices, filings, documents, correspondence, deadlines, billing, and strategy become one current record that lawyers, staff, and their approved AI can work from, with people deciding what changes.

What we believe

  • i.The tedious work is where the errors live.
  • ii.AI does the tedious work. People make the decisions.
  • iii.Security is a boundary, not a feature.
  • iv.Serious tools for every size of firm.
